Mura na nga sya for the quality of rooms it offer, di ka na lugi sa P150 accommodation.
Hi Claire!
Where i can find affordable hotel near Penafrancia?
I will be there for one week.
Thank you.
May I have pics of the twin room accomodation at sampaguita and sunnyview hotel in naga city. it should be airconditioned. tnx
Sorry Mel, I didn’t take pictures of all the rooms fo the hotels.
CLAIRE PWEDE MALAMAN KUNG SAAN YANG TAG-150
Kindly call the hostel you are planning to book to get the updated rates. The address and contact details are on the blog.
wow! i agree. really good value for the money. thanks for posting this, claire!
thanks for posting this claire. share ko ha. =)
Thanks sis
I like the last one. The walls decorated with rocks are stunning. Thank you for sharing Claire. How much is it in USD per night?
the cheapest room is around 4 dollars Nelieta – bargain isn’t it
nice budget accommodations for backpackers.thanks for sharing this claire. i’m sure many travelers will find this post helpful.
I think if you still look around , you’ll find P100 per night homestay
very like ko post na to! thanks for sharing nice pics!
Thanks Ca
Not the typical type of accommodations I saw from the places I’d been to but for these rates maybe forgivable… hehehe I’m just being honest Claire… Sincerely, I haven’t tried any of Philippines hotels so with your pictures they help a lot now…. Thanks for sharing the rates who knows I’ll book one of them in the future…hehe
Oh these are for the travelers on budget Jorie, I’ll be posting high end accommodation as well and probably mid-range so there is something for everyone
wala bang cheaper pa? alam ko yung old sampaguita inn has P150. booked taht for my friends last year, sept
Just for you James, I updated it already
Thanks for posting this Claire. These information are very very helpful, especially the room prices.. I will read this again when I plan to visit Naga.
No worries, I will follow your KK adventure too, i need to take note of worthy places to go
Thanks. I’ll try putting in the KK entries after we get there =)
we planned to stay at Sampaguita when we went there last month. inferness, looks ok ngga. =)
Where did u end up staying when you were in Naga?
Thanks Claire, will be useful when I go to Naga sa April for a ‘pre-wedding’ party hehe, might as well stay the night there and hop to Legazpi, Albay – sana makasama ka
If I’m still around, sure Liev, mag-ATV tayo around Mayon
I’ve been to Moraville in Dinaga St, last Sept 2009. It costed us 1000 for the single AC room. But it’s worth the price, cery spacious and clean. though the building is not that appealing the room are great! they also have a breakfast buffet for only 170 pesos… try nyo!
Indeed, don’t judge a book by its cover,
nice, may mas maganda pa pala sa sampaguita. panget kse cust svc nila kaya ayoko i-blog. hehe mura kse kaya dun ako nag-stay
I agree with you sis, both branches in Naga need a bit of a make-over in terms of their customer service. Akala ko isolated case lang on my part.
I was thirteen years old. I missed Bicol, yung Bicol Express at Peanut Brittle. hehe:-)
Yep, Casablanca is in Legaspi and still operational. I guess it’s time for another visit Nonoy, say hi to the Butanding and Mayon
Same here, although rooms at this price range should be booked ahead because they are in demand.
Magkalapit lang sila Jhune, 5 minutes walk away from each other.
salamat po ng marami. God Bless
Great guide Claire!
Thanks mate
Thanks for sharing this one claire. Meron palang Panganiban Drive dyan.
.
Yep meron din sa Legaspi
Tnx for the info, claire! Just kidding! Nice post! =)
Thank you for the awesome help, Claire!!! Love your blog. Going to Naga this Saturday and this helps a lot!!!
Thank you for dropping by too
also, check out mirabella hotel, also along panganiban drive, naga city. it also offers affordable prices such as 895.00 for twin bed, and 1,599.00 for triple bed.
Thank you for sharing this Carol.
Hi Claire! I enjoyed reading your blogs and since you seem to be a well traveled person, I’m wondering if you know w/c of the hotels/inns you mentioned above is nearest to magsaysay avenue?
Thanks and many more travel/adventures to come!
)
Naga City is quite small and it’s easy to go from one place to another by tricycle or jeepney. All these hotels are accessible and near the city center so it doesn’t really matter which one you choose.
Hi Claire,
Is it true that Moraville Hotel is not secured enough for the guests? and there’s cockroaches? any truth on this? We are looking for a place to stay on august kasi.
I have not seen roaches there but I’ve been to many lodges where I’ve encountered roaches. But if you will ask me, I’ll stay at these places again just because they are cheap – I’ve seen one in a 5-star hotel in Boracay.
WOW! This is amazing, really helpful Claire. Bookmarking this for our September trip, thanks for sharing:-)
Thanks girls, mukhang aatttend kayo ng Penafrancia Festival
we’ve stayed in moraville last january 2010. the twin rooms we were checked in were nice enough, pero the bathroom door has no lock. aside from that and that there’s no elevator, i think moraville is good.
I agree, for its price, I think it’s already a good deal.
Okay tong place na to ah.
By the way nice travel blog, now lang ako napadpad dito. I will definitely follow each travel post here. Super like.
Thank you for dropping by Bettina
bookmarked this entry.. salamat sa entry na toh at nakapagbook na ko sa golden leaf hotel para sa upcoming NAGA-CARAMOAN trip ko on september. Thanks for sharing.
By the way I added your link to my blog. ^_^
Thanks for sharing these lovely places in our country. I’m planning to visit El Nido in three weeks any suggestions where to stay especially if there are kids? You remind me of Samantha Brown but you explore more. Can we take you as our guide? Anyway more power to you.
Hi Anna, it’s easy to find cheap accommodation at El Nido Town. There’s a row of lodges, hotels and resort along the beach. You could easily survey each one first in 10 minutes or so and see which one you like. Makulay Lodge offers a nice furnished villa with an amazing view as well as rooms for rent. It’s like renting a house for a reasonable price. You can also stay at Lally and Abet, the first one you will see when you go to EL Nido town or the two expensive resorts beside it. We stayed at Babe’s lodge beside Balay Tubay and paid 500 pesos per night for a fan room (that’s an offseason rate). Alternative lodge offers funky rooms with restaurant that serves vegetarian dishes and beachfront setting. Sept. isn’t peak season really so you’ll find one easily. Safe travels! (IF I happen to be in Phil at that time, I would love to go back to El Nido and travel with your family
)
I need tipid room for Sep.12 to 17.
Anybody can give advise?
You can choose from any of these hotels, they are reasonably priced if not cheap.
During peak season you will need to book your accommodation at least a month in advance. If not, you will need to know people there who has connections to local hostels and bed & breakfast accommodations. For future reference, if you need help on this, you can contact Mayan, the manager of Fish Cove Garden Bed and Breakfast. She help a friend of mine find a hostel in Naga City (which you don’t normally find online) during the Penafrancia fiesta. She knows several of these kind of accommodations since she also runs a travel agency business which offers tour packages within camarines sur. You can call her @+63 (917) 527 2387 or send her a message thru fish cove garden’s site.
Anyone who plan to have a vacation in Naga City, I know a place in the heart of Naga City, where u can enjoy ur stay….we went there and the people and service was great,. rooms were affordable and spacious..garden was beautiful. the place is called fishcove gardens in naga city. here’s the link

Enjoy!!!
One tricycle ride away lang sila sa malls at other establishments, it doesn’t matter which one you choose.
hello,
ask ko sana if my cheap na lodge or hotel near from WcW SA Naga City? Please inform me..
Naga isn’t that big and wherever you choose to stay is one jeepney/tricycle ride away from the malls etc.
Hi Ms. Claire. I and my husband will be going to naga for vacation this february. I’d like to ask if the room rates stated above are good for how many hours? is it for over night stay already? Because they are really cheap and we like the rooms as well. thank you!
It’s for overnight stay, just check with them to confirm the current rates as well as the check-in/check-out time.
hi claire. wer going to naga for 3days next month for seminar..ask ko san pede mag stay mlapit sa sm naga..? amount stated above for family..ilan tao maximum?
Standard room is usually good for two. i think I listed the price and contact numbers, kindly confirm it with them to be sure.
Balak kasi namin celebrate christmas Naga and we are madaming okyupante..di xa advisable sa Hotel kasi bka maingayan iba lalo na it’s like a reunion so di maiwasan ung voice of joy.
May mairerecommenda kba? yung fully furnished and easy access to go everywhere..
>Hope to hear from you soon..please email me at kpberj@yahoo.com.Thanks!
Hi Query, di ko pasya natry pero try mo igoogle “homestay” or home for rent in Naga.
Hi Claire,
thanks for the post. Now, i already have an idea about hotel accommodations that are cheaper but i would just like to know if you have any idea where i can find the cheapest rate for island hopping going to Caramoan island and CWC. Are these hotels mentioned above closer to CWC for wakeboarding? thank you.

Try to call the hotel for updated rates.
hi claire tnx for this, anway8 helpslot sa mga kagaya kung wlang idea sa Naga coz its my first time and to think i will travel aloneon dec. 29-jan. 1 ano ba mas ok sunnyviewor sampaguita???? and talaga bang hindi ngbabago yong rates???plan ko sana pagdatingqby dec. 29 saka palang ako mghanap hindi rin kasi pwede dito mgbook online for earlier booking sana…needs your info tnx again….
Hi Cherie, kahit alin sa dalawa pwede naman, it’s better to call the hotels though for updated rates.
I’m going to spend my holiday vacation th is lenten season there in Naga. Been there a decade ago but haven’t have the chance to explore the place. This info for hotels is very helpful. Few pics is enough to decide. thanks for this blog.
hi. good for 24hours po ba ung rates na nakalagay dyan? thank you.
Yep.
